List CIFS Shares and Permissions
cifs shares
Granting and removing access using the CIFS access command:
Using the NetApp storage system console (i.e via Putty)
Use the cifs access command to grant or remove access to a share.
To add access to a share, type:
cifs access <share> [-g] <user|group> <rights>
To remove access to a share type:
cifs access -delete <share> [-g] <user|group>
Note:
Rights can be UNIX-style combinations of r w x – or NT-style “No Access”, “Read”, “Change”, and “Full Control”.
For users and groups, using double quotes to enclose names with spaces may be required. For example: “NETAPP\Domain Admins”.
